Orange Unpeels its Wire Free Expertise with a series of Roadshows

Objective:

BBL were asked to help Orange promote the benefits of WireFree technology and its products to vendors, quickly and effectively, in order to increase sales.

Plan:

To keep costs to a minimum and to get the key messages across to Orange vendors, BBL carried out a series of road shows. Over a 5-year period the road shows became a well respected annual event within the whole of the mobile phone industry.

Event:

The early road shows were very simple with only 50 people at each event and a very basic stage set. Orange was the only network to make contact with their vendors in this way.

With expert input from BBL the locations and capacity were increased over the years to a maximum of 200 people at each event and guest speakers from within the mobile phone industry including Nokia and Ericsson. BBL became involved with Orange strategically and logistically and sold over £75K of event sponsorship to co-fund the event series.

Success:

The road shows were a huge success and very well respected within the mobile phone industry. There was growth year on year as each event became more professional and successful with over 75% of delegates with excellent satisfaction ratings.
